ENTORNO is a bold transmedia project told through five verite-style short documentaries that spotlight citizen participation as a vital force in shaping sustainable development during Bogota’s path to economic recovery.

Through an intimate blend of personal testimony, archival material, and expert perspectives—from psychology and economics to journalism, art, and faith—the series captures a city navigating the aftershocks of COVID-19 and confronting its deepest structural challenges.

The films chronicle lived experiences across key sectors of the economy, diving into the impact of the pandemic’s three waves, media misinformation, vaccine rollout, and societal behavior. Beyond the health crisis, ENTORNO confronts the realities of urban life: insecurity, violence, homelessness, transportation breakdowns, and environmental degradation.

Rather than offering answers, the series invites reflection—on how individuals, when empowered, can become agents of change in reimagining a more humane, inclusive, and resilient city.
